The development of a wind farm project is a long process, which depending on its scale, takes approximately 4 years. Since 2005, Borko LTD has been working on several projects in Northeast Bulgaria and in the Districts of Shumen and Targovishte. Two of the projects in the region of Shabla are already owned by Electrawinds and were commissioned in 2011. The development process has been completed for several other projects in the region of Shabla and the village of Sarnino, Municipality of General Toshevo. These projects are ready for construction, with issued building permissions and signed preliminary connection contracts, and are offered to potential investors for realization. All sites are planned for 800 KW turbines with the possibility of being increased. In the process of development are two more projects in the Municipality of Omurtag, District of Targovishte and in the Municipalities Venets and Hitrino, District of Shumen. In these projects it is also possible to increase the power of each wind turbine.
